Fans, friends, and family of runners competing in the festival can now watch the scene unfold from almost anywhere in the world.

R2i’s Kevin Schreiner Added to DotNetNuke (DNN) Core Open Source Team - Wednesday, August 19, 2009

This free application is available to 1st Mariner Bank customers who own an iPhone or iPod Touch, allowing them to find ATMs and 1st Mariner Bank branches relative to their current location (automatically generated by their iPhone). The application allows customers to use their GPS location to find the nearest ATMs, including the more than 16,000 MoneyPass® ATMs around the country as well as other PointAbout Network information such as store sales, gas prices and more.  Using the iPhone and iTouch GPS technology, the 1st Mariner Application makes it easy to find ATM’s throughout the USA and Branches in the DC/MD metro area. Just after 4:30 on Thursday afternoon the first cork was popped and cups of wine were passed around to riders of the bus. Then came the chips, the cookies, the beer.

Making stops in Reston and Tysons Corner, the bus shuttled about 50 technology mavens based in Northern Virginia to the third Twin Tech party at Lux Lounge in downtown Washington. The three-story building was nearly bursting at the seams with more than 2,000 area tech executives, entrepreneurs, software developers and investors, along with the lawyers and marketing and business development folks who wanted to meet them.

The biannual Twin Tech parties have quickly become must-attend events for technology professionals since the first one was organized last year by Peter Corbett of iStrategyLabs and the Northern Virginia Technology Council to try to merge the start-up scene with the government contracting community.

But with so many people crammed into the nightclub, mingling through the crowd and having audible conversations was difficult. The bus riders, who originally signed up because they didn't want to deal with traffic and parking during rush hour, said the best networking opportunity was on the hour-long trip down Interstate 66.

"I think it really capitalized on the fact people would need to get in from the suburbs," said Shashi Bellamkonda, whose title is social media swami at Reston-based Network Solutions. "People got a lot of value out of it, and I'm always a big proponent of public transportation." He sent messages on Twitter and took photos on his cellphone during the trip.

The shuttle was organized by Larry Roe of Leverpoint, a software outsourcing company; Cheryl Dickison, who heads business development at digital marketing firm R2integrated; Elizabeth Shea, co-founder of public relations firm Speakerbox; Bob London, who runs marketing firm London, Ink; and Marc Gonyea of Memory Blue, a Fairfax lead-generation company.

Article excerpt: "Chodnicki believed early on that R2i could somehow sustain a business with the interest created by the community surrounding DNN®. Like most open source projects, it had a lot of potential to be a money-saving solution, but uptake was lower than it could have been because of potential clients' perception of lack of support. A solid company behind the project was the missing ingredient, Chodnicki thought.

Bi4ce to Participate at OpenForce 07 in Las Vegas - Monday, September 10, 2007

Bi4ce releases NukeDK.ListX version 1.98 - Friday, August 10, 2007

NukeDk 1.98 includes the following useful features:

1. Quick Builder - A template driven interface that allows you to specify the name and key of your table (for the purpose of generating the INSERT/UPDATE/DELETE statements - as well as a query box to enter your query). Once entered - you can automatically turn the current ListX into a Data Grid, Detail, Edit Form with the click of a button.

2. Event Logging - Due to popular demand, and the need for a more productive debugging environment - we have added actions for Logging - so you can log whatever you want - whenever you want. Also - we have turned on automated Trace logging for your configurations. So you can log all interaction - or only interaction which causes a SQL error. And most important - we aren't using the DNN Event Logs. Instead, there is a new table specifically for ListX which is accessible per module on the Action Menu under Log.

3. Repository - the ListX repository has been embedded within the Admin environment - so now you can view the repository for the current module at any time by clicking on the Repository action menu item. The layout has changed and been extended to allow you to label your versions for the sake of keeping track of which configurations are 'Production Worthy'.

4. COALESCE - a brand new tag supplied within your ListX configurations. This tag allows you to pick from multiple values, returning the first value which is not empty. And - it lets you apply an unlimited number of formatters.

*This release is a free upgrade for current licensed users.
